DESCRIPTION:s \nv \nBSAVA AND WVSC CELEBRATE RETURN OF VETS CYMRU \nThe British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) and the Wales Veterinary Science Centre (WVSC) are eagerly anticipating the opening of the third ‘Vets Cymru’ event on 17 and 18 June at the University of Aberystwyth. \nRegistration for the event is now open on the BSAVA’s website Vets Cymru 2022 (bsava.com). \nThe event combines academic and educational lectures with practical sessions. Each is targeted at either small animal practitioners\, large animal specialists\, equine practices or veterinary nurses working in Wales and the border areas. Subject matter covers a range of disciplines and topics – from holistic rabbit anesthesia to oxygen uptake in race horses; from prescribing to endoscopy; from wound management protocols to the role of veterinary professionals in sustainability\, and much more besides. \nDelegates can amass up to 16 hours of world-class CPD over the two days. \nThe BSAVA and the WVSC run the event in partnership with support from the University of Aberystwyth and its veterinary students\, as well as other sponsors. \n  \n“We are excited to be able to offer an opportunity to bring vets\, nurses and students to Aberystwyth with academics\, industry colleagues and suppliers from all over Wales” says Beverley Hopkins\, Pathology Manager of the WVSC. \n“We ran a successful inaugural event in 2019 and have felt the loss of a face-to-face conference in Wales ever since the pandemic.
